Today we did some geophysics! I got to swing a sledgehammer, which made me quite happy. Using GPS and seismics, we could determine the velocity and thickness of the ice at different points on the glacier. To culminate a great day of work and weather, we got pizza and ate it on the shore of Lake Louis. Not a shabby view, either.
