Today was an easy field day with Brian. We went out to a pumice quarry to practice logging the Bishop tuff. All day we categorized the layers within the tuff and hypothesized about their depositional conditions. Luckily, today we were in the shade the whole time. To help pass the time, Brian blasted hours of Grateful Dead from the vans.
